A gem
A gem. The hosts are wonderful. My wife and I were here 5 nights to visit our daughter; the family that runs this place made us feel like family. It’s very clean. The walled garden is lovely, and having the public spaces in which to keep our own food and eat and relax was perfect. A short walk to Clapham Junction meant we could get anywhere with relative ease. Innumerable shops and places to eat within a very short walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect stay when visiting London
It was my second stay at the guest house and there will be more. Immediately on arrival you get a warm welcome, and you will get all info you need for a pleasant stay. This is the absolutely best guest house I´ve stayed at in London, everything is spotlessly clean, the owners/staff are so kind and I sleep well. You reach it within 5 minutes walk from Clapham Junction Station, which is great when arriving from Gatwick, as well as about 10 minutes by train from London Victoria. Looking forward to back soon.

very nice suites
Very comfortable suites, we had 2 for 4 people. They had good beds, clean, excellent heating. There is an area below to prepare food that we did not use. The owners/staff were very friendly all the time, close to the train station and some other transportations. There are many options for eat/drink for all budgets

Good position, clean and welcoming
Guest house ideally situated, comfy and clean. For a family of 4 it worked very well for our Christmas visit to London. In the warmer months the little garden must be very enjoyable. It’s located very close to Northcote road, which has everything one needs.

The Lavender Guest House-Great place to Stay!!
Lavender Guest House located in Clapham Junction area. The guest house is not far from Clapham J station. The guest house is VERY clean and well maintained. The owners are wonderful friendly people and will deliver with one's requests (ex. extra toilet paper, clean towels, blankets etc.), There are 2 kitchens one can use, if you wish to cook your own meals there and there is a supermarket at the end of the block of the guest house. There is also LOTS of restaurants, cafes and pubs to eat out both inexpensive and expensive. It's a VERY nice area, Very safe at night and always people around the area enjoying the evenings. The train station there has good and fast connections to get you anywhere around central london and outside of central london. Brighton is only one hour away from Lavender guest house. Wifi connection is excellent and they have USB ports to upload your mobil phones. If your traveling from outside of the UK, You will need to bring an adapter for your computer. UK uses Type G plug socket. Otherwise, this is definitely a great guest house to stay at while you are visiting London. - Peace S

Lavender Guest House is in lovely location, near to shops pubs and restaurants. Everything is with walk distance. The owner was very welcoming, friendly and made me feel comfortable. I love that there two kitchens that guests can use which was very handy

Lovely place, within easy walking distance of Clapham Junction. I had a small, cosy room. The very helpful staff always had a solution for any problem - usually of my own making - and, consequently, my stay was a stress-free delight. No hesitation in recommending the place.

Great place to stay
Everything we needed plus more. Tony and Lisa were fabulous hosts. Warmly welcomed and orientated to house and even an early check in. The room (number 5) was tight for space but we did have a lot of stuff! Plenty of hanging/storage space however and we were hardly there as we used our room as storage and as a base while doing lots of trips out of London. Location is perfect - so so central. You can get anywhere from this location. Loved the conservatory kitchen and small garden out the back which we utilised often. We will definitely stay here again. Great find!

Absolutely fantastic!
Tony and his sister are the loveliest people! Our credit card was stolen just prior to our trip and they allowed us to stay over extra- blocking off the room while we got the new one shipped to us. Absolutely fantastic stay, location and hosts!

Lovely guest house. Fantastic service from Tony & family. They were very welcoming & made life easy. Rooms were clean, well maintained, towels changed regularly. 2 fully accessible kitchen areas so you can manage food requirements. Easy access to Clapham common, buses, shops, and trains

What a great place to stay. Extremely affordable lodging for London. En suite bathroom (a necessity imo) and just enough room for a solo traveler like myself. The owners were wonderfully helpful and friendly as well. The only slight negative is that it’s located in Battersea, so it can take a bit of time to get to the touristy parts of central London, though that might not concern everyone. Fortunately it’s a very close walk to Clapham Junction train station.

I had a wonderful stay at Lavendar Guest House in Clapham Junction. It was the perfect start to my holiday. Tony's communication leading up to my stay was always prompt, clear and full of information. Nothing was a bother. The family running the guest house were very happy and friendly and did everything they could to ensure my stay was a happy and comfortable one. I loved the dining area near the garden and appreciated the use of the fridge and kitchen facilities. If I am lucky enough to return to Clapham Junction I will certainly be checking for vacancies at Lavendar Guest House. Thank you.
