THE CHAMPIONSHIPS – WIMBLEDON 2024

It’s June, the scent of fresh strawberries is in the air, and one of the most anticipated summer sporting events on the London calendar is nearly underway. This year’s Wimbledon Tennis championship takes place from July 1st – July 14th, when the best players in the world battle it out to claim the coveted Grand Slam titles.

This year marks a new era when we say goodbye to legends such as Nadal and say hello to a new generation of strikingly talented players.

If you are planning on attending, have tickets, or want to queue for tickets, you’ll want to find a place to stay within a commutable distance of the lawn tennis club, yet where affordability and comfort are high on your list of must-haves.

Our property, The Lavender House B&B is located no more than 30 mins from the grounds, and we have limited availability over the coming weeks.

Public transportation is going to be the best way of getting from our front door to Henman Hill, centre court or wherever you are planning to watch a game.

If you are staying with us, it’s just a short walk to Clapham Junction and from there after approx. 25 mins you’ll disembark at Wimbledon. From there it’s simply a case of following the sounds of cheering crowds as the hint of excitement fills the air.

To book your stay this year or next when attending the Wimbledon Champions, always book direct and well in advance to secure best rates and availability.
